MY APPROACH

Sound as a space
to return within.

My approach to sound is rooted in attentive listening, thoughtful composition and the creation of experiences that invite you to slow down, soften and reconnect with yourself.

THE PHILOSOPHY

Not an escape,
but a return.

Soundphilia grew from my fascination with the way sound can influence the way a moment feels — drawing our attention away from constant movement and towards stillness, presence and deeper awareness.

Rather than following a rigid formula, I create each journey with its own character and emotional landscape. The pace, textures and silences are considered as carefully as the sounds themselves.

The intention is not to tell you what you should feel. It is to create enough space for you to listen, notice and experience the journey in your own way.

AT THE HEART OF THE PRACTICE

Created with care and intention.

01

Deep listening

Each experience begins with listening — to the character of every instrument, the relationship between sounds and the space that exists between them.

02

Gentle pacing

The journeys unfold without urgency, allowing rhythm, resonance and silence to create a gradual and immersive experience.

03

Your own experience

There is no correct response to sound. You are invited to meet each journey exactly as you are and take from it what feels right for you.

THE SOUND PALETTE

Acoustic sound,
layered with intention.

My work brings together resonant acoustic instruments, organic movement and carefully shaped ambient textures. Each element is selected for the role it plays within the wider journey.

01Crystal singing bowls
02Gong and sustained resonance
03Ocean drum and water textures
04Seed shaker and organic percussion
05Chimes and delicate details
06Spacious ambient layers

WHAT TO EXPECT

A moment shaped
around listening.

01

Find a comfortable, quiet space where you can listen without needing to do anything else.

02

Headphones can reveal more of the subtle details, although speakers can also be used.

03

You can listen seated or lying down, with your eyes open or closed — whatever feels comfortable.

04

Every listen may feel different. There is no need to force a particular response or outcome.

Soundphilia experiences are created for relaxation and personal wellbeing. They are not medical treatment and are not intended to diagnose, treat or replace professional medical care.
